Growing up as a multicultural latino male, my late mother Áurea always made sure I understood that opportunities in life came by education, strong skills, and an exceptionally well-groomed appearance. New York is a Mecca, and so is my beloved Harlem. In Harlem, there was, and continues, a tremendous sense of high end style. A Mecca of art, entertainment, literary genius, higher learning, religion, business, and multi-culture.  She taught me that a lasting impression is one’s first — and it’s an impression that has shaped my identity, and the identity of That’s Smoooth grooming products.
